In terms of appearance, this new Landscape FREE adopts a new design, which evolves again on the basis of inheriting Landscape’s own Chinese aesthetic design.
The front face adopts a transverse flying wing through light strip, and is matched with a light wave type vertical near-term grille, showing a unique technological beauty;
The streamline design of the body makes its curves unique and smooth, and at the same time, it is equipped with an anti-gravity rear wing, which increases the sense of movement and further helps maintain the balance of the body.
The same through taillights at the rear of the car are designed in a uniform style, further enhancing the recognition of the entire vehicle.
Intelligent driving is the top priority of this new Landmap FREE, which is equipped with Baidu Apollo Highway Driving Pro system (hereinafter referred to as "Apollo system"), reaching the first echelon level of intelligent driving in the industry. In the demonstration video of Lantu Automotive CEO Lu Fang’s personal test drive on July 26, the Apollo system demonstrated a highly intelligent parking capability, supporting one-click remote parking, memory parking, and remote summoning functions. It only needs to be controlled on the APP. After leaving the office building after get off work, the car will automatically drive from the parking lot to the building door to wait for the owner, which saves a lot of time and energy. At the same time, the Baidu Apollo smart driving system also supports pilot-assisted driving and man-machine co-driving maps. When there is a driver on the highway, it can achieve fully autonomous driving, and can realize functions such as automatic lane change, lane change, and overtaking, which greatly saves the driver’s energy and effectively reduces the driving threshold.
In terms of power, the new Lantu FREE comes standard with a dual-motor intelligent four-wheel drive system, a front double fork arm rear multi-link aluminum alloy chassis, and air suspension, which makes driving more stable while having sufficient power. The new Lantu FREE also uses a 1.5T depth Miller cycle extender, which accelerates 100 kilometers in about 4 seconds. Its CLTC comprehensive battery life has reached 1201km, which can be described as both power and battery life.
Lantu Auto also announced today the rights and interests enjoyed by the new car reservation: 5,000 yuan deposit deducted 10,000 yuan for the purchase of the car; the first owner of FREE enjoys 85% of the value preservation and purchase subsidy, and the lifelong rights and interests are inherited.
