CCTV News:The reporter learned from China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd. that January 2023 — In November, the cumulative traffic volume of China-Europe trains has exceeded the whole year of 2022. The sustained and substantial increase in traffic volume highlights the steady and positive trend of China’s foreign trade economy.
Data show that in the first 11 months, China-Europe trains operated a total of 16,145 trains and delivered 1.749 million TEUs, up 7% and 19% respectively. Among them, the traffic volume has exceeded the total traffic volume in 2022.
Since 2023, China State Railway Group Co.,Ltd. has accelerated the construction of the China-Europe train passage, and the Jinghe River of Lanxin Railway — The second line of Alashankou section was added and put into operation. At the same time, strengthen port transportation organization, strengthen coordination and linkage with customs and border inspection departments, and improve the customs clearance efficiency of China-Europe trains.
